Harry Brant, the son of supermodel Stephanie Seymour and magazine Peter Brant, died of an accidental overdose at the age of 24, his family confirmed.

According to a press release from his family, Harry died on Sunday, Jan. 17, of an accidental overdose of prescribed drugs . “We will forever be saddened that his life was curtail by this devastating disease,” Harry’s loved ones told the NYT. “He achieved tons in his 24 years, but we’ll never get the prospect to ascertain what proportion more Harry could have done.”

“Harry wasn’t just our son,” the family statement continued. “He was also an exquisite brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend. He was an ingenious , loving and powerful soul that brought light into numerous people’s hearts. He was truly a gorgeous person inside and out.”

Harry’s family also shared that the model hoped to beat his addiction and had plans to enter rehab in only a couple of days.

Growing up with famous parents, Harry made a reputation for himself within the entertainment world over the years. Back in 2015 and 2016, Harry teamed up together with his brother, Peter Brant, Jr., to launch collections of their unisex makeup line for MAC.

Talking about the inspiration behind the road , Harry told W magazine in 2016, “The gender lines are beginning to blur again, which is basically , really great. People are beginning to be more celebrated for his or her creativity. and that i really think that when you allow highschool , you realize that being normal are some things that folks want to keep faraway from , and therefore the refore the more true you’re to yourself and the more individual you’re , the more people are inherently interested in you.”
