Indian cricketers Hardik and Krunal Pandya are in pain today as they lost their father at the age of 71 on Saturday morning. Himanshu Pandya suffered a heart attack and taken his last breathe.
Earlier, Hardik Pandya, had returned home after limited over series against Australia last month. He was at home when his father breathing his last. Elder brother Krunal Pandya, is leading the Baroda team within the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Trophy right now, has also left the tournament mid-way to go back to home.
As soon as Krunal Pandya got this news, Baroda captain Krunal left the bio-bubble that he was in with the remainder of the players of the team.
“Yes, Krunal Pandya has left the bubble(due to his father death). It’s a personal tragedy and lose, Baroda Cricket Association mourns this loss of Hardik and Krunal,” Baroda Cricket Association CEO Shishir Hattangadi told.
Himanshu Pandya once told in an interview,“Whenever I(Himanshu) discuss Hardik and Krunal, I( Hardik and Krunal Father’s) cannot control my tears which they need done so well is God’s gift. Our intentions of letting them play cricket from a really young age was questioned and criticized by many relatives. But we weren’t willing to vary our plans, and it’s great to ascertain what they need achieved now,” Himanshu Pandya had told MI TV in an interview.
