IND vs AUS Cricket 2nd Test, Day 3 Highlights: The Indian batsmen after scoring 326 runs in 1st inning on day 3, were able to pick up six wickets within the second innings in Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG).
On day 3, Team India completely dominated the Australian team. The bowlers showed great character and form as they picked up six wickets. One bad thing that goes for the India team is Umesh Yadav’s injury.
Australian batsmen were managed to attain 133 runs at the end of the day’s play, with a lead of two runs. Day 2 started when India was at 277 but was just able to score 326 as tailenders fell quickly at the top.
India was bowled out for 326 runs with a lead of 131 runs within the second Test. Ravindra Jadeja to score his 15th Test fifty got Ajinkya Rahane run out for 112. Jadeja was then later dismissed by Mitchell Starc for 57.
India’s stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane’s century took India past Australia’s first innings total of 195 comfortably and also ensured they got through the second new ball and a whole session without losing a wicket.
Ravindra Jadeja with Rahane’s innings was able to help Indian Cricket Team to get a lead of 131 runs.
With a great bowling performance on Day 3, no Australian batsman was able to cross the 50 marks and each Indian bowler end up taking one wicket each and Ravindra Jadeja with two wickets.
